The light side of Polish jazz! Tadeusz Prejzner debuts on CD with his exclusive album. With his outstanding instrumentalists, he proved that music could be easy, light and pleasant listening, but still remain intelligent and serious!

Prejzner (1925-2010) was a versatile composer and pianist exploring new paths of jazz in Poland. Not only did he compose big symphonic forms and chamber pieces, but also songs and instrumental works. At the turn of 60s and 70s, with the eminent jazz players, e.g. Włodzimierz Nahorny, Tomasz Stańko, and Janusz Muniak, he recorded beautiful jazz ballads where the sound was softened by the string section. Nostalgic swings, dreamy bossa novas and journeys into the world of spiritual jazz make for a coherent whole that resulted in one of the most fascinating but slightly obscure pop music albums in Poland.

The complete recording from the 1973-album called Spacer brzegiem morza was remastered using original tapes of the Polskie Nagrania label. The history of the album production was included in the CD booklet.
