Even though Roxa was called a one-hit wonder because of the song “A ona tańczy”, it had much more to offer. This is confirmed by an anthology gathering all the remaining recordings of this Warsaw group.

Established in 1984, the group won the hearts of the public with catchy music inspired by the new wave hits of The Police and the electronic endeavours of representatives of new romantic. During its short career, Roxa played in Jarocin and Opole festivals. It won a contest for young artists organised by record label Savitor, which allowed “A ona tańczy” to appear on the compilation “Sztuka latania”. They also released a single for Tonpress and a full-length album which was released only on cassette tape. The captivating music of Roxa still enchants with its beautiful melodies and interesting arrangements full of synthesizers of the period. It’s the sort of pop we love!

“Aleja marzeń. Antologia 1984-1986” gathers all of the group’s remaining recordings, remastered from the best available sources and supplemented with a booklet with the band’s history, unknown photos and all the song lyrics.
